On average how many pages shoud we do a night?
There are 57 pages and 14 days, so 57/14 is 4 pages per night. The geometry pages have many problems, so you may not have to do more than a small sample.

When can we start reviewing out side of class and will you be any more available? I believe that there are only 14 days till the assessment so when can you meet with me?
I am somewhat more available after school. I am still your purple study hall proctor. We will also be reviewing in class.

Just to make sure... on the review packet, problems 11 - 28 on Multiplying Radical Expressions, we DO NOT have to do them... Will they be on the assesment?
You don't have to do numbers 21 to 28. You are responsible for numbers 1 to 20. Problems 11 to 20 are just the distributive property.

Question 5
How do you solve for perimeters of shapes that are part circle for example 11.1 b and d?
The perimeter of a circle is called its circumference (pi * diameter) - please add this to chapter 11 question

Why is the assessment split into two days and what is going to be on the first day and what is going to be on it the second day?
The assessment is split into two days because Monday is a short class and I want everyone to have enough time to complete the assessment. You should be "ready" to take the test as if it was only on Monday.

One more question, problems 1 - 22 from Dividing Radical Expressions, how do you do those types of problems... they are not in the homework and i cannot find any notes on them either.
We went over dividing fractions in class and there wasn't a homework assignment. It is important to understand how to solve these types of radicals, but the problems will be extra credit on the assessment.

How do you do number 10 on pg 13. It is (3x10 to the 25) + (7x10 to the 26). Would you multiply 3 and 7?
In order to add numbers in scientific notation, they need to have the same base and exponents. They are both base 10, so you need to adjust the numbers so they have the same exponent. For example, here is the same number written using different exponents.






When can I schedule my extra time?
If you have extended time, then you must see me as soon as possible. You can do it during a study hall, before school, or after school. Keep in mind that only Monday and Tuesday are regular class schedules. It must be done before Thursday. Grades are due Thursday and I need time to grade the assessment.
